Insights into carbon nanotube-assisted electro-oxidation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons for mediated bioelectrocatalysis

Abstract : Polyaromatic hydrocarbons were electro-oxidized on CNT electrodes and studied towards their capacity to transfer electrons from the enzyme FAD-GDH to the electrode. A mixture of electro-oxidized pyrene and pyrene NHS gave high performing biocathodes.
