The "Alpine Presidia" system of the Alpes Workshop Zone: a tool and an approach for successful adaptation

Sentinel Alpine pastures, Sentinel Lake, Sentinel Refuges, Sentinel Flora and ORCHAMP Observatory are the names of the five long-term observation devices of the structuring project "Sentinels of the Alps". Supported by the Zone atelier Alpes, a meeting place for researchers and territorial managers, this project aims in particular to make known the good practices identified and raise awareness among managers, communities and citizens of the links between lifestyles and environmental dynamics.

Alpages sentinelles, Lac sentinelles, Refuges sentinelles, Flore sentinelle et Observatoire ORCHAMP, sont les noms des cinq dispositifs d'observation à long terme du projet structurant « Sentinelles des Alpes ». Porté par la Zone atelier Alpes, un espace de rencontre entre chercheurs et gestionnaires de territoires, ce projet a notamment pour objectif de faire connaitre les bonnes pratiques identifiées et sensibiliser les gestionnaires, les collectivités et les citoyens aux liens entre modes de vie et dynamiques des milieux.
