Sobre una antropología sensible del mar On a Sensitive Anthropology of the Sea

Resumen La etología ha sido sin duda pionera en percibir en el " engaño " un instrumento heurístico. Modelizando las perspectivas, reduciendo a una forma perceptiva mínima el " mundo " de cada especie, el " método de los engaños " desarrollado por esta disciplina permite suponer que las percepciones del ser vivo pueden adoptar formas sensibles, residuales y esquemáticas. ¿Qué ocurre con el engaño tal y como se manifiesta en las sociedades humanas? ¿Qué nos enseña sobre la relación de estas últimas con su entorno, sobre sus propias representaciones y sensibilidades? Partiendo del ejemplo de los pescadores Imrâgen de Mauritania, en los que se han centrado mis investigaciones doctorales, y acudiendo a otras fuentes, literarias y etnográficas, relacionadas con el mar, el presente artículo trata de comprender cómo el engaño y la intención que está en su principio: la metis, forman la trama de una relación privilegiada con el mundo y sus seres. Palabras claves: Antropología marítima-etología-engaño-sensibilidad. Abstract Ethology is probably the first field to have considered the lure as a heuristic tool. Modeling perspectives and reducing to critical information patterns the "world" of each species, the " technique of lures " suggests that perceptions consist of sensitive, residual, and schematic forms. What does the lure represent in human societies? What do we learn about the relationship of human societies to their environment, and about their representations and sensitivities? Taking the example of Imrâgen fishermen from Mauritania – the subject of my doctoral research – and using additional literary and ethnographic sources dealing with the sea, this article attempts to understand how the lure and its principle, the metis, form the basis of a special relationship to the world and the beings that inhabit it.
