Taxonomy of the Euphorbia pyrifolia clade

There is still a lot of work to do on the Madagascan Euphorbia, succulent or not. The author is engaged in a series of taxonomic revision of the Madagascan species, in collaboration with various experts. In this paper, a nomenclatural checklist of the taxa included in the informal “Euphorbia pyrifolia group” is proposed, along with a general description of the group and a new synonym for Euphorbia rangovalensis Leandri.
